Since the beginning of the year, Proco Group has been rolling out a new company vision, asking all employees to create positive outcomes across our stakeholder groups. The idea was, and is, that we should embody this vision in everything that we do as a company, whether it is for our candidates, clients, colleagues or the communities that we operate in.

This emphasis on working together towards success was mirrored in the launch of Proco+ Days in March 2019, one day each quarter where every employee across all regions is asked to focus on one of four themes – giving back, wellbeing, learning or culture—and all offices are tasked with organising an activity to engage with each other and the world around them.

All of these changes have meant that 2019 has already been an eventful year for Proco to date, but we have yet another exciting announcement to share with you.

As part of our stated aim to put our clients at the centre of everything that we do, we have decided to introduce a Chief Customer Officer (CCO) for Proco Group. This will be a crucial role that will help us define, develop and deliver consistent standards of service and support across all three brands for clients worldwide.

I am delighted to announce that Stephen Smith, who currently leads our business in the Americas, will be taking on this role from 1 June 2019 based out of Hong Kong. His understanding of our business, his desire to create positive outcomes for all our stakeholders and his incredible work ethic are second to none, so I know that he will be hugely successful as CCO.

The appointment coincides with the recent Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey sent out to our clients, which will provide our leadership team and managers with insight into the current level of client satisfaction. We are still working through the results, but plan on conducting a NPS survey every quarter going forward to monitor how we rank, and most importantly, where we can improve.

I am confident that with our new client-focused approach, we will not only consistently achieve positive outcomes, but will clearly demonstrate why we are the global leader in end-to-end supply chain recruitment. We have always valued our relationships with clients, but we aim to foster these connections and set an even higher standard for ourselves. Stephen will play a pivotal role to ensure that we succeed in this.
