I have exciting news: Proco Group is establishing a new Research Centre in Mexico, to help us consolidate our position as the world’s leading specialist supply chain recruitment business.

This is a major milestone for our business in Mexico and for the development of Proco Group around the world. Historically, Proco Group – like many recruitment firms – has focused solely on local research to support our sector and functional teams. By establishing this new centre, however, we will be able to take a broader view and facilitate research across borders, which is increasingly important as supply chains become more international. Initially, the new centre will focus on North America, but we hope – over time – to evolve into global coverage.

The new centre is being established in Mexico due to its geographical proximity to our largest single market (USA) and the availability of a highly educated, multi lingual and motivated workforce. It will be led by Mariana Salazar Pozos, who is joining us as Head of Research. Mariana has more than seven years of recruiting experience (with Morgan Philips Group and Korn Ferry) and a track record of developing research functions and building successful teams.

This development supports our Proco Group vision: to create positive outcomes across our stakeholder groups. We embody this vision in everything that we do, whether it is for our candidates, clients, colleagues or communities. The new centre will significantly strengthen our capability to do this by deepening our understanding of markets, sectors and available talent so we make the right match between candidates and roles in the specialist area of supply chains.

Our team in Mexico has doubled in size in recent years and is managed by Farid Alcazar. In his first financial year with Proco, Farid has built a high-performing, client-focused team that is delivering outstanding service to our stakeholders.

I hope any clients or potential candidates reading this recognise the importance of this development and are excited about it as I am. Whether you’re about to begin a search or you’re candidate thinking about your next career move, feel free to connect with Mariana to see how she and the team can help you succeed.
