Farid is celebrating four years as our Director of the Americas in our Mexico City office! We asked him to reflect on his time and highlights at Proco so far, how his career has grown and developed.
Where did you work before joining Proco?
What attracted you to Proco?
The international exposure, the potential to grow the operation by taking advantage of the Supply Chain E2E global specialization of the company, and the connection I felt with the people.
What do you enjoy about your role?
Being able to define and execute the plans to grow the company, the strong bond and frequent interactions I have with different colleagues in the three regions where we operate: Americas, EMEA and APAC, the support and development of the team, and the client relationships.
What are some highlights of your four year at Proco?
It has to be the results: we’ve broken our own revenue record on back-to-back months this year during June, July and August; also, the strong organizational structure we now have with our team focused on the Mexican market and our team focused on the US market.
How has Proco helped you in your career development?
I’ve been able to continue developing decision making and managerial skills, and I’ve been able to understand the recruitment industry from a global perspective.
What advice do you have for prospective Proco candidates?

What are three words that you would used to describe Proco?

Has your idea of recruitment changed since joining Proco?
Definitely. I had the idea of recruitment being a highly transactional job but at Proco, recruitment is about quality. It’s about adding value to our clients, candidates and employees the whole time.

How do you see your office and team developing/growing?
Growing dramatically; since the beginning of this year, after a speedy recovery from COVID-19, our team has doubled in size, results have been amazing and there is nothing stopping us!
