Mariana is based in our Mexico office and heads up our new research centre. Having only just joined the business, we asked her for her first impression of life at Proco.
How did you hear about Proco?
Chris Powell contacted me via LinkedIn, and told me about Proco.
How did Proco’s working culture factor into your decision to join the business?
I liked the fact that there’s a lot of global interaction, brainstorming, and basically the company really seemed to be aiming for excellence.
What is your background in recruitment?
I’ve been in recruitment management for over 7 years, mostly recruiting for C-Level Positions, but I also have some experience with mid & senior levels.
What three words best describe you?
Fun, accountable, curious (intellectually curious).
What is currently exciting you about your role/industry?
I’m very excited about this role because I’ve managed regional positions before (managing North America, or Latin America), but Mexico’s operation always represented 80% of my operation; this time, it’s basically the other way around. It is also an opportunity to create something completely new that could have a great impact for Proco.
What do you hope to achieve in your first six months with the company?
I hope to achieve a healthy operation for North America’s Research team. Establishing KPIs, targets, SLAs, and overall delivering a top quality service for each client/process.
