The challenge:

Following the creation of a new biopharma platform within the business, Proco Global was asked to provide support with the development of the new division.

Initially, discussions centred on providing recruitment support for several roles at VP level. Each role would be in Frankfurt, with the option to hire in Boston, Paris and Lyon.

Proco Global was approached on the understanding that not all roles would be filled externally, as the business was actively exploring internal options and existing networks.  

The solution:

Proco Global completed a full search methodology. We gathered information around the business and committed our research team to mapping the market and proactively presenting qualified candidates from some of the most established Biotech employers, such as Roche, Novartis and Lonza.

We were then given the opportunity to pitch for a VP-level search and secured a formal retained search mandate in April.

Our results

We completed the search successfully within three months. From the shortlist presented, 12 candidates were selected to progress to interview, a number of which were then highlighted for further meetings.

To date, we have filled two senior positions within the new division and we have one other offer pending acceptance.
